| Bio: | I am getting my master's degree in Speech Pathology. Graduation should be spring 2009. After that I plan on getting my doctorate, but I don't know yet whether I'll go for that right away or if I'll wait a bit. I love to read and to write, though I don't write nearly so often as I should or would like to. My to read stack is almost as tall as I am. I'm in desperate need of more bookshelves and currently I'm worried that the weight of the books in this house will make the floors collapse at any given moment. I'm also very fond of scrapbooking. My list of albums to complete is growing at a rapid rate. I'll get them done eventually. Right now I'm two years behind. I'm married to a marvelous man. We have a little boy and a little doll-baby girl. They're both cute and funny. Our son's full of himself these days, being four. He sees bigger kids doing and saying things (and having attitude issues) he just has to try out. I've tried telling him that just because he sees someone else do something doesn't mean he's got to do it too. So far that bit of wisdom hasn't sunk in. We have a little house for us and our critters. Life is good. We have one English Setter and two cats. Our son keeps telling us we need another dog. He doesn't seem to understand that another dog would most likely chew up all his toys. Chance, being the perfect dog, doesn't chew up anything he's not supposed to. I love the woods and the water. Some of my happiest memories are of walking up the middle of a creek with the water still spring cool around my legs, the birds singing above and the light glistening through the trees. My Precious (Canon Digial Rebel EOS 8mp SLR) and I take lots of pictures. I probably make a nuisance of myself with my camera, but that's ok. People can deal with it, I'm thinking. I've gotten to where I take it with me pretty much all the time since I never know when a picture's going to pop up in front of me that has to be taken - especially in this gorgeous country we live in with creeks and rivers and bluffs and trees just betting to be photographed. There's nothing like the fog coming up off the Cumberland River in the morning with the trees glowing green through it in the sunlight. . .
